The S3000 Thermal Conductivity Analyzer determines gas components based on the
differences in thermal conductivity of gases. Specifically, it measures the thermal conductivity of a mixed gas to determine the content of a specific gas within it. Hydrogen in the mixed gas has a high thermal conductivity,
7–8 times higher than that of nitrogen, oxygen, and other gases. Therefore, when the background gas or other components in the mixture remain basically constant, the thermal conductivity of the mixed gas depends essentially on the hydrogen content. Based on this principle, the analyzer can accurately measure the hydrogen concentration by detecting the thermal conductivity of the mixed gas.
It is suitable for continuous and automatic analysis of hydrogen percentage concentration in various mixed gases, and can be widely used in industries such as petrochemicals, metallurgy, electric power, biological fermentation, and air separation.
