Biomass boilers burn biomass fuels such as wood and straw, converting chemical energy into thermal energy for heating or industrial production. However, the combustion process emits various pollutants, including SO₂, NOx, CO, and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs), which not only pollute the environment and harm human health but can also interfere with the accurate measurement of flue gas by online monitoring equipment due to the presence of hydrocarbon compounds. To address this issue, a hydrocarbon removal device can be installed inside the online monitoring system cabinet. This device specifically removes hydrocarbons from the sample gas before delivering the purified gas to the analyzer, thereby ensuring accurate and reliable monitoring data for gaseous pollutants such as SO₂ and NOx.
